Terms of trade

The following terms and conditions apply for work done by The Green Plant Company Ltd, unless otherwise arranged.

New Customers

The Green Plant Company Ltd reserves the right to require payment in advance for work and/or require you to fill in a credit application form.

All Existing Customers

Work in progress will be invoiced to the month in which it is carried out. An invoice detailing the charges for work undertaken will be forwarded at the end of the month. Any information we assemble or obtain may be used by us or by our business associates for the purposes of preparing surveys, market analysis, mailing lists or general reports and you hereby consent to the use and dissemination of this information pursuant to the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993.

Consultancy fees

Service charges are based on consultant time that is billable at NZ$100.00 per hour (+GST in New Zealand). If travel is required, the costs are NZ$0.60 per km (from Palmerston North). In all cases, the consultant will attempt to reduce costs to individual clients by combining several visits in one trip. Generally, secretarial time is minimised, but if due to the nature of the job, a secretary is required, the client will be notified in advance and a cost of NZ$50 per hour will apply. Disbursements such as toll calls, special photocopying, photographs, laboratory fees and other job specific expenses such as travel expenses will be charged at cost. We will advise you of any large and unforseen disbursement costs as and when they are incurred.

All fees and costs are quoted exclusive of Goods & Services Tax, which is applicable to New Zealand purchases only.

Overdue Accounts

We reserve the right to charge interest at current rates (3% per month) to all fees not paid by 20th of the month after date of issue of invoice. If an account is overdue The Green Plant Company Ltd reserves the right to withhold reports or refuse to undertake any further work until the account is paid. The Green Plant Company Ltd also reserves the right to recover from the debtor any debt collection charges and withdraw any special discounts or arrangements that have been negotiated.
